Our Story

Crumble & Core began in 2016 when three friends, Lucy, Louise & Jill came together.

We share a passion to create quality art-based cards & gifts that are proudly British designed & British made.

With Jills watercolour art, Louises Surface Pattern Designs & Lucys creativity, our ideas to life. We run our business from a beautiful Oasthouse on a dairy farm in the stunning East Sussex countryside.

Our products are sold extensively in Independent Shops, Garden Centres & Tourist Attractions across the UK & our designs and surface patterns are licensed globally.

Lou

Co-Founder Lou is a Mum of four gorgeous children and worked in the City for over 10 years, bringing invaluable skills to the business. She adores creating surface patterns for our products and licensing.

Jilly

Co-Founder and Artist, Jilly obviously brought her incredible Portfolio of paintings. She was taught to paint by her dad at the age of 10 and that ignited a long-life passion for watercolours.She went on to train at Art College in textiles and illustration and was a Published Freelance Artist for many years. Jilly’s favourite card is our Art Studio Card from our Classic Crumble Collection.

Lucy

Co-Founder and designer Lucy ran a successful Card & Gift shop, The Banana Tree in Eastbourne, for over 26 years. This gave her a wealth of knowledge into the gift trade industry. Lucy’s favourite products are from our range of Ceramics.

FAQs

Where are your products made?

All of our designs are created in the UK by our Crumble and Core team. Many items are handmade or printed locally.

How long will delivery take?

Retail orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days. Wholesale orders may take slightly longer depending on size.

Can I include a gift message?

Yes! Add your message at checkout and we’ll include it with your order. No pricing is shown on gift deliveries.

Are your materials eco-friendly?

Yes. We use FSC-certified recycled paper, recyclable packaging, eco-friendily candles, recycled silver and support sustainable practices wherever possible. With EVERY order placed one tree is planted made possible by working Ecologi.

Do you offer wholesale or trade pricing?
