Crumble & Core began in 2016 when three friends, Lucy, Louise & Jill, came together with a shared passion for creating beautiful, art-led cards and gifts.

From our studio in a beautiful Oast house on a working dairy farm in the East Sussex countryside, our collections bring together Jill’s original hand-painted watercolour artwork, Louise’s surface pattern designs and Lucy’s creative direction.

Inspired by flowers, gardens, nature and the countryside around us, we create distinctive collections with a timeless British feel. What began with a small range of greeting cards has grown into an extensive collection of cards, gifts, stationery and homeware, all proudly British designed and, wherever possible, British made.

Today, our products are sold extensively through independent shops, garden centres and visitor attractions across the UK. Alongside our own collections, our artwork and surface pattern designs are also licensed globally for use across interiors, textiles, homeware, stationery and other products.

We remain a small, independent British creative business, with originality, quality and a love of beautiful design at the heart of everything we do.
